Amazing food

A great time was had.... We booked for inside the marquee, before we were aware of storm Arwen!!! We had a fabulous evening, the marquee stayed in place... The food was AMAZING... The staff were AMAZING... the weather was awful... But everything was served with a smile... Thank you for a great night and one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.... Between us we shared pizzas, a charcuterie board {the black chedder ????) and nibbles.... Thank you highly appreciated and recommended xxx

Wow….what a Halloween treat!

Having visited several times before, we were looking forward to the murder mystery evening at woodies, and we weren’t disappointed. As we approached the wine bar we were greeted by an array of pumpkin lanterns, the magic carried on inside with the whole bar decorated with cobwebs and spiders including mini pumpkin table decorations. The pink Prosecco with an eye ball in the glass….., followed by a delicious sharing platter, very generous cheese board, and the entertainment was well worth the ticket price. As always really well looked after by the Woodies team. We look forward to attending more events

Excellent Murder Mystery Evening!

We have visited Woodies’s a few times and always really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Yesterday we attended our first theme evening, which was a murder mystery play! For a set price you watched a production team act out a scene and spend the evening talking to the teams to work out what happened. This was all accompanied by a delicious platter of food and a cheese course. The food was excellent and the staff did extremely well keeping everyone happy with drinks throughout the evening. Thank you Woodies Team for a wonderful evening, we can’t wait for the next one!!

Amazing Experience at this hidden gem

Whole experience was amazing, food, service & location - Had the meat and cheese platter which was lovely. Service was also excellent and a really friendly nice environment - a hidden gem!

Fantastic evening

I first visited Woodies for dinner last month and was delighted by the excellent menu, delicious specials and wonderful atmosphere. We booked a table and it was a busy evening, the wonderful decor and brilliant staff made the evening really special. They have a large range of drinks with some really unusual beers on tap which delighted my husband and cocktail specials on offer. I have since been back for takeaways which have been fantastic, and more reasonable than the local pizza takeaway. I can’t wait to take my friend for lunch on Saturday, I am eager to see what the specials are! I feel very lucky to have Woodies on my doorstep, but it would be worth travelling for ifnI lived further away. With lots of special events planned, I am sure we will be regular customers.

Birthday celebrations

Had an amazing time celebrating a birthday with friends. Cocktails were amazing and a great selection of food. My pizza was delicious. Will be back soon!

Excellent customer service.

We went to Woodies wine bar for my son's 50th birthday the venue was lovely and the buffet was excellent we would definitely hold a party as it was very reasonabe. The staff were very attentive without being pushy.

A 5 star place to go

I had my 50th birthday here and it really is a lovely place. They arranged a buffet and it was fantastic great quality and quantity. The staff where very professional and so Helpful they definitely are a credit to the place. Thank you guys I will definitely be coming back

hidden gem

what a find, exactly what this area needs, and it s just walking distance from our home. Lovely wine, beer and great food, and live music on Sundays...what else can you expect?? The only thing, take this masks off and show your beautiful faces to the world :) ... highly recommended, we ll be back soon, our new favourite place..
