Excellent food.

This Bar & Bistro are part of the Mulranny Park Hotel and serves wonderful food. We had lunch there with a cousin who came to visit us, during our stay there recently. We also had a great dinner there. The staff are very welcoming and the Covid restrictions were well adhered to. Lovely sea views from the windows.

Beautiful spot to recharge!

My husband and I stopped off here for a little rest and recharge while cycling The Great Western Greenway on Wednesday. We ordered a simple selection of tea, coffee and scones and found this quaint little bar relaxing and welcoming to Greenway cyclists - not to mention sporting a beautiful view of the Irish coast! Reasonably priced and very welcoming.

An excellent lunch

we were wandering about Westport Quay and it started to rain. Some places had either shut down or had limited opening tmes as it was now out of season. The hotel bistro was open so we decided to have lunch there. It was excellent. The hotel is 4* so we were expecting it to be quite expensive. My husband had the chowder, a huge bowl with artisan bread, I had a toasted cheese sandwhich, served with a side salad. The service was brilliant, our waiter was chatty and laughing with all the guests, obviously enjoying his work. We finished our meal with coffee. The whole thing came to Β£15. Well worth it

Great Green Way pit stop!

After cycling for hours on the Green Way, we stopped off here for a well deserved lunch and a pint! The menu appeals to all with perfect choice. I had fabulously presented fish & chips, while my husband went for the delicious burger. Stunning views over Clew Bay were a perfect backdrop to fantastic lunch.

A green way to behold

Yes, this location has it all, Clew Bay, The Holy Mountain at the far side of the bay, great food, unique wines and the rooms are fine too. Walk the Lettermaghera Loop and complete the Green route to Newport, or back West to your hotel, a longer route, but hugely rewarding. Soak in the tub outside, before repairing to the bar for a pint of Guinness.
