Excellent as always. Superb generous portions!

We went for my birthday lunch as a family and were very impressed. The food was delicious and there was no issue feeding some of the fussier members of our party. Safety was paramount and in line with new Covid measures. Very relaxed and enjoyable.

Great place

First visit since lockdown and we were not disappointed. All safety precautions in place and staff very well trained in all safety aspects. Warm welcome and new procedures explained in a friendly way. Service excellent as was the food. A lovely varied menu and you can have half portions of some dishes. The food was very good and tasty and the staff very attentive. Bill brought to table and payment made there. All in all a very pleasant visit under the new rules. Definitely be back. Seen the tables and chairs being sanitised after each table were finished. Five stars from us. *****

Stop off for Sunday lunch

We had our lunch here today on route to Galway. It was fabulous! There was 8 in our party and everyone was delighted with their meal. The place is full of character. We were served by leah and another girl (who we didn't get her name, blonde hair)excellent service. They couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Looking forward to the next time we're in Athlone so we can visit again!

Excellent

The food is is fantastic and the staff are great too... From the outside it just looks like it's name lol but inside is a different story it has such a cosy feel with the fire blazing as u enter the front door.. there is a great variety on the menu. We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed it has great food and great prices which is hard to find these days.. so if it's good hearty Irish fresh cook food your looking for this is the place for u.. you won't leave hungry that's for sure.

A beautiful cosy place to visit the food is just amazing the staff are all so friendly i went twice in the one week. If you are looking for Gluten free food this the place to visit. I would highly recommend a visit.
