Willow Weaving Course

Brilliant Day. Ronan and Elaine of Newgrange Willow explained everything in detail and had such patience. As a complete beginner I arrived thinking I’d be making a log basket. Oh the self- assured hubris of the novice. There is a lot to learn. Ronan broke it down into very manageable parts. We made a decent sized small basket and I havnt concentrated so much on something for a long time. I have already booked my next course and look forward to practicing this new skill. Great way to send a day.
Food is available from the on site cafe and is tasty.
I was very comfortable with the arrangements for social distanceing in these strange covid times. The covered courtyard is ideal.
Thanks to Seamus Ennis Arts Center and Ronan and Elaine form Newgrange Willow for an excellant day.

Great spot for Lunch

The restaurant is a wonderful place to drop in for an impromptu meal. They do a great all day breakfast with soda bread. The daily specials are interesting and very tasty. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. What’s not to like.

Great venue for live gigs. Also a great coffee shop too.

What a great place to attend a garden party concert! There’s a little something for everyone - good sized dance area, plenty of seating, standing room at the bar where you can still see the stage ... it’s a very cool venue, located north of Dublin city. Really friendly, super helpful staff provided great service. Wonderful sound system. All around, a perfect setting for a very memorable night out.

A serious cyclist venue

Love this place. It is a great venue for gigs with a wide variety to suit all musical tastes. The coffee shop is a welcome sight on a weekend morning, catering for breakfasts, snacks and lunches. Fab coffee stop if you’re on a bike also.
