The Millhouse

Sarah’s Hen Aug 2020 I can honestly say We had the most amazing weekend in The Millhouse Slane for my sister Sarah’s hen party. Niamh was amazing to deal with and really helped get the whole event organised through difficult circumstances which were changing daily due to covid 19 restrictions and other factors. But we managed to get it all organised and within the current covid 19 restrictions at the time. We were separated into social bubbles and kept within these bubbles throughout the weekend, we also had to fill in forms to ensure no one was presenting with any symptoms as well as downloading the covid 19 app. We felt safe and reassured for the weekend ahead. When we did arrive at the venue Valerie and the staff could not have been nicer. So friendly and helpful and we also had a great laugh with them. The venue was beautiful and the rooms just stunning. We had the whole venue to ourselves. It was total escapism. We were blessed with fabulous weather and enjoyed an outdoor afternoon tea with the stunning surroundings. We also got some fabulous hen party pictures at the outdoor hot tub which was pure bliss. Our meal in the orangery was most enjoyable. Then we had some party games and karaoke and danced the night. It was so much fun. We had a weekend to remember in such a beautiful location. Highly recommend The Millhouse for a hen party or for a group of girls for a fabulous weekend away. We hugely enjoyed the enchanted forest Christmas experience. This is a unique Christmas experience quite unlike your typical Santa visit. The forest is a great setting and the group approach is fun and engaging.
