Highly recommended

We went out last night to the Inn at Milltown for our second meal out in five months and it didn’t disappoint. The menu was had something for everyone with starters, Pizza, stir fry, curry , vegetarian, fish and meat dishes. I had the battered fish with hake, prawn, cod and salmon with chips and mushy peas that was absolutely delicious. My partner had a fillet steak on a stone that was served with chips, mushrooms and onions. The fillet was tender and delicious. Portions were very big so we were doubtful about deserts so decided to share an apple crumble. Wow! Served with the most delicious ice cream and custard it was one of the best deserts I have ever tasted. Two top class main courses, a fabulous desert and a gin and tonic all for €52. Happy to recommend it without hesitation.

Wonderful setting and food with brilliant staff

30 family members went to the Milltown Inn for a very special celebration. We were greeted warmly by Shay and extremely welcoming staff. As we were such a large group we had a private table in the lovely conservatory which had a real fire and direct access to the amazing garden. Our meal was fabulous and served friendly, calmly and efficiently. Every effort was made to accommodate everyone, for example, vegetarians and younger children. Really good value too! We then went outside to enjoy the nice weather and for our photoshoot! Great care was taken in the garden design with a lovely waterfall and children's area. I was personally bowled over by the wall mural of the canal. It is so realistic! There is a covered in area also with another real fire to keep cosy and warm when required. Thanks a million to Shay, Céire, Caeleen, Eoin and Aaron. A special word of appreciation to the Chef and catering team. Hats off to everyone! You made our special occasion one to remember always. We will certainly be back!

Pure class

Was in the Milltown in last week with our friends for a meal n have to say was amazing I had Brie to start n slow roasted brisket sandwich for main was just Devine,service is excellent all the staff were so friendly,our night finished n I asked the owner Sean for a taxi number n he ended up giving us a lift back to Nurney that polished the night off for me I’ll definitely be back for more thanks for a fab night, ps definitely visit this place it’s well worth it

Out for Lunch

Went here for Sunday Lunch with a friend on 27/5/18 and really enjoyed it. Very nice airy room, loads of space between the tables. Went in and shown to table within a minute. Table service was really good, food was excellent and nice music in the background. Many families there and well catered for. The room itself is much more comfortable than the back dining room. Staff were friendly and timing was really good. Give good time between getting the menu, meal, desert and coffee, they give you time to finish each course and do not rush you. Will be there again.

Highly recommend

Went for a meal with some friends. Had a fabulous meal. Thanks to Shay for his great service. The pub itself is warm and so very comfortable. The beer garden is one of the best I've seen. Water feature houses for children to play in. All secure and safe. We all that's 12 if us will definitely be back. Not to forget very very reasonable
