Great atmosphere - great pints
We stopped over here after doing the Sheep head round-trip. This is a querky place - it’s a bar and no more. One big room, a bar, a bar man - pints. That’s it. And great pints at that. Definitely stay for two if not more....

Cozy with a beautiful garden
We visited here twice during our stay on Sheep’s Head Penninsula. It’s a good place to stop and get out of the car to have a pint. You will run into a couple locals and here their chats. Cormac and Margaret were both lovely conversationalists. Go out back and sit a picnic table to relax and look at the water. Don’t forget to stop and say hi to Skoda the cat :)

Legendary
Known as the tinny shed this tiny bar with big heart and one of the most perfectly stunning beer gardens in Ireland is a place for anyone bucket list visit. The Batman lives next door “it’s a short commute” -it closes end of September for winter so roll on summer.

What a gem of a find
This place is great. Friendly locals. Good beer. Amazing views from the garden. Do not miss out. Clearly a good location to go for a wild swim from too.

What a garden
We stopped here while the village festival was taking place and this is a pub with a truly great garden at the end of which is a magnificent view of Dunmanus Bay. Spectacular to just take a leisurely pint to the garden’s end and watch the ebb and flow of the tide.
Excellent service at the Tin Pub and a pretty unique place, with it being pieced together with corrugated iron sheets. Inside it is a bit dark, but a place certainly worth visiting for the craic.

Always lovely
Have been visiting this part of West Cork for years with my husband and always visit the tin shed. We are always met with a friendly smile, and are always made feel welcome.. The bar has its own little charm and the beer garden is nestled overlooking beautiful Dumanus Bay.. It is particularly tranquil this time of year especially with the wonderful weather.

Beer Garden with an amazing view
Probably one of the best beer garden’s I’ve been to in terms of views! Wow, looking out over the sea and mountains, we stopped off for one drink after walking Sheeps’ Head. Barman was very friendly and the place nice and clean. Would have loved to have spent more time there. Great spot if you have a gang of friends.
