Lovely stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at Catherine and Michael's home stay. It was quiet with some lovely musical moments in the morning. The breakfast was also very nice and nourishing! Make sure you have their phone number before coming, as it is not on a main road and perhaps not as easily found as other b&b..

Lovely b+b in the county

Lovely, very friendly b+b in the country. Owners are very knowledgeable and are full of reccomendations for anything you can think of. Really recommended. Easy to find, although it can be easily missed as I found out. I wouldn't say it is wheelchair friendly because of the location, off road tracks, and stairs to the property. Children are welcome here. This place would suit single travelers as well as families. The place is clean and fresh, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom clean.

Unique Experience

This is one of the most wonderful places you will stay in Ireland. Music is everywhere in the house. So if you want a truly Irish experience with traditional music and language, this is the place. Great family I can't recommend it enough.

Honeymoon trip

We stayed here for our honeymoon tour of Ireland/Northern Ireland in May. It was beautiful! As we drove up to the grounds we passed through the nearby town and it was so nice - there were kids playing on the beach, a golf course, ruins of a friary and more. The house itself is on top of a hill and the flowers outside were beautiful. We were greeted outside by Michael (we had arranged at time with him via email ahead of time to ensure it was good for both of us to arrive). He had a student there for music lessons so it was a bit of entertainment to listen to as we got into our room. Michael recommended a restaurant to us for supper, so we went back to the town nearby and ate, wandered around, got an ice cream from a quaint little shop and walked on the beach. What a gorgeous town! Our room was big and faced the front of the house. It was very clean but the bed was admittedly not comfortable with really loud springs. It was the only negative thing about this room but the friendliness of the owners more than made up for it. Michael made us a great irish breakfast and gave us his tips on spots to go visit that were a bit off the beaten track, including a few Game of Thrones filming locations (our GPS brought us there through a very weird back road with a thousand sheep wandering around on it, so that in itself was hilarious). I would definitely recommend it!! …
