Top notch !
Came here today for lunch with my 2 kids while we were in Longford town. Really cool layout, there is a Hollywood theme all through the bar/restaurant. Staff were lovely, very nice and friendly. I ordered the beef noodle stir fry, it was delicious, thick beef, lovely and soft with loads of veg and noodles, so tasty. The kids had curry and a soup. Both were really nice, proper home baked brown bread with the vegetable soup. We finished with lattes and Oreo milkshakes, the milkshakes went down a treat with the kids! Overall had a really fab lunch, would definitely come here again:)

Family gatherings
A large group of us met here for our annual Christmas gathering. They reserved the back of the restaurant for us which was great we were all together & could move about freely without disturbing any other dinners. I had Goats cheese for starter, it was delicious & well presented. For my Main course I had the Turkey & ham, again just delicious, hot & well presented. My husband had stake & it was cooked to his taste. Ample amount of extras on our table chips etc,. Instead of dessert I had a cocktail, wow it was gorgeous. Its hard to fine a place that will cater for large numbers but we were well looked after.

Good value
We booked in to Take Two guest house as we were attending a concert in Longford. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Our room was a good size, bed was comfy with two pillows which pleased me. If you have a netflix account the television is linked which was great for the kids. I was slightly disappointed on the bathroom as it was very small and had only a shower also the bathroom door was broken and it wouldnt close. Room was cold on entry but once the radiator was turned on it quickly heated room.Breakfast is included in price which was good value. It is situated on a street but was very quiet especially as it was a Saturday night. Within walking distance to cafe and other entertainment.

It just keeps getting better
We have been waiting a long time for an establishment to root itself in Longford. One that at it's heart has quality written all over it and Take Two is definitely that. The food is great the staff are great and since they've added a cocktail menu well.......... I just wish that other businesses in the area would look to Take Two for inspiration and it's really very simple, for a restaurant/cafe serve good food and have great staff, that's it. But well done to Take Two for completing this task and being a really great place to eat. The breakfast that they now do is unbelievable value, I had the Full Irish and I can barely move as I write this, great work and the service this morning was taken on by one young girl who was rushed off her feet but not once did she complain and held a great warm genuine smile on her face. To the owner as I write this the date is 08/12/19 so whomever was doing service this morning, give them a pay rise, NOW!!
