Lovely!

We stayed at the Sunrise for two nights in early September near the beginning of our tour of Ireland. The B&B itself, is situated beautifully with an excellent view of the sunrise (hence the name, I would imagine). Although some felt it was a little out of the way, I found that the pastoral type setting outside of a larger city of town, lent greatly to its charm. The drive to any sight really, was not that extensive. The view from the breakfast room is incomparable, particularly on a sunny day. The room we had was large and well-appointed with lots of space and ample storage (large mirrored bureau, full wardrobe, two nightstands with storage), a small sitting sofa, television, provisions for coffee and tea, etc. Extra pillows and blankets were provided in the room as well, along with hair dryer. Everything was very clean and bright. The breakfast was very good and it reminded me of home - which is a huge compliment! Our hostess, Noreen, was amazing. What a lovely and accommodating person. I ran into some health issues while in Ireland which resulted in a trip to the A&E. This resulted in quite a late arrival on our first night but Noreen was so accommodating and concerned. She altered my breakfast plan to make it easier and checked on my health with genuine and sincere interest. I can't say enough nice things about Noreen or this property. I felt so relaxed and at home - I was sorry to leave if I'm honest and could have stayed there happily for any number of days. I highly recommend this location. Thanks Noreen for everything!!! …

Lovely stay, lovely home, personal experience

We ended our 2 week Scotland/Ireland trip at Sunrise B&B and it was a wonderful way to end the trip. We scheduled last minute due to a change in our itinerary. We were made welcome, were comfortable in the large and well-furnished rooms, and had a lovely one night stay. It's a short 3 min drive into beautiful Kinsale. Far enough to not hear cars all night but close enough to get dinner and listen to great Irish music. The view from the sitting room and dining room is spectacular!

BEAUTIFUL!

We loved our stay at the B&B. The house was gorgeous, but the surrounding area and the views were absolutely beautiful. The four of us stayed in 2 separate rooms, my sister and I stayed in a room with a full bed and a twin bed and it had a large bathroom attached to the suite; my parents also had a queen size bed with a large bathroom as well. The dining area was set up beautifully and the host made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We felt that it was too long of a walk into Kinsale from the B&B, but it was a very short drive to the city center and there was a lot of parking. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful B&B and quaint town

Host was so nice and the home was beautiful. We had everything we needed for a family of four visiting from the US (all adults). We walked to Kenmare center for dinner; great location. I would highly recommend this B&B ????
