A friendly and welcoming church

The brothers and lay helpers are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Stop for a chat with them after mass and find out what else they have going on during the week.

Big!

Fantadtic church and nice celebration of the priest on Sunday. Inside is little bit dark, but it is not important. Darkness helps to take concentration

A restful and reflective place,

One of the oldest Churches in Cork, the Dominican Church is a wonderful example of the architecture of that period in Cork after Catholic Emancipation. its high pillars and majestic entrance give it an elegance and sense of the Sacred. The high ceiling and ornate windows, together with the wonderful sanctuary lends a sense of peace and tranquillity.

Big bright and open

This church is more modern than others we visit in Cork and this was the last of a group of three we visit. Nort Cathedral , st. Annes and now st,Mary´s all in a short walk. We liked them all but like we said this was the most modern.

fascinating marian shrine within

This is a functioning Dominican church. Within, you can see the marble pillars that were initially intended to be the organ gallery of St Pauls cathedral in London. There is a lovely shrine to the right of the main altar, Our Lady of Graces.

Well worth a visit
