Great Place

Was here last Saturday with a small group of ladies from our church. It was a lovely day weather wise, but we didn’t spend much time here as we just called in to have a picnic in the grounds. The grounds look lovely with lots of walking paths and beautiful trees. Looked especially lovely with all the lovely golden leaves that have fallen during the autumn time. This is an excellent place if you want to have a picnic, looks like there are plenty of picnic tables, also tennis court, children’s play area and a cafe in the grounds. Lots of dog walkers about too. Wish we had had more time to spend in the park. Area seems to be very well kept. Next time I am in the area will investigate this park more fully and bring my little Dachshund with me. Definitely 5 stars from me.

Beautiful

Near our B&B we walked through the park to downtown and back. Interesting old trees and lovely gardens. The city spent lots of money on this park

Fun for all ages

My children (one boy aged 10 & one boy aged 5) & I love this park & all of the facilities. There is so much too do. Different park sections depending on age/abilities. Some very fun zip lines for all ages. We love nothing more than packing a picnic & just heading down for the day to st. Columbs park for peace, relaxation, fun, safety, & plenty of space for two hyper boys. It’s a place we will always be a part of.

St Columb’s Park

I walked around the park. Beautiful big park with lovely trees. It was a fine sunny evening. People were jogging an playing tennis. There is a nice Cafe in the Park it was closed when I came. The park was clean and well kept. Very relaxing

Angry

Travelled all the way from London (600 miles) just to go to this famous park. Head to adventure playground and notice that the zipwire seat is missing. "Oh well" I think, and decide to look at the swings. I notice that these are also missing. Frustrated, I then head further in and would you believe it, the rope swings are also gone. Not happy.
