Shamrock Bed & Breakfast

We spent 3 lovely and relaxing nights in the Shamrock. Very clean and comfortable room with wonderful island views from our bedroom. A great central location for walking around the island. Stephanie is a great and welcoming host and regularly checking if we needed additional towels etc a hearty breakfast was served each morning together with her Mums delicious home made brown bread. A great place to relax and unwind .. we will be back again!!

We had a fantastic couple of days with our friends on Inisheer and stayed at the Shamrock. The location of the Shamrock is ideal, just up from the water. Our stay in the Shamrock was excellent. Everyone at the B&B were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs (travelled with a young toddler) and the rooms and food were excellent. We had absolutely everything we needed there. We would highly recommend the Shamrock if looking to stay on the island. Thank you Stephanie and the gang. We will most definitely be back for a visit!!

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Shamrock. Stephanie and her mam are lovely hosts and make you feel so at home. The rooms are spotless with lovely sea views. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to get back soon.

We have just thoroughly enjoyed a most relaxing break at the Shamrock B and B. Stephanie, the manageress was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We booked 2 rooms (couple and 2 young adult sons) . The rooms had wonderful sea views. They were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, toiletries and towels. On arrival Stephanie was generous with her time and answered all our questions about the island as well as sharing information with us. The B and B is in an excellent location, within a short walking distance of all amenities. It is close to the pier and local hotel and shop and there is a pitch across the road. We hired bikes and really enjoyed cycling the length and breath of the island and stopping along the way. Breakfast was served promptly and was delicious added to by Stephanie’s Mums freshly baked brown bread. There is a relaxing area in the dining room with tea and coffee and an ample supply of books and board games as well as a TV and comfortable couch. There is also a basket of beach towels available should guests need then. I booked treatments at Aran seaweed baths and spa and enjoyed a leisurely walk through the countryside to the spa which I would highly recommend. Shamrock B and B is a perfect place to base yourself for a reasonably priced break on Inis Oirr. We will most definitely be returning sooner rather than later. …

The rooms air airy and have wonderful views of the islands surroundings. We were given a room looking towards the beach and across Galway Bay. As I was there with my 12 year old son, it was fantastic to be right beside the playground, football pitch beach, restaraunts, etc. He absolutely loved it and everything is literally only a 5 minute walk away. Stephanie is very well-organised and delicious cooked breakfasts were served within only 10 minutes of ordering, although we weren`t in a hurry...it`s just worth noting the excellent service. We`ve already booked another night only one week later. Highly recommended! Tom W.
