Wealth of Contemporary Irish Art

Love the RHA which is a visual arts society run by artists. A superb city centre gallery space also offering various art classes as well as regular exhibition. In particular their Annual Exhibition is fantastic and I love to visit it to see the wealth of contemporary Irish art selected via open submission - paint, sculpture, print, photography, drawing and architecture - it’s all here, and it’s all fantastic.

The annual members exhibition is the best art exhibition in Dublin

Went to see the current Brian Eno exhibition which is absolutely mesmerising. It’s on display till late Feb and I’m hoping to make it back to the gallery to see it again and explore the other exhibitions.

We’re lucky to have such a gorgeous gallery in the middle of the city.

The nicest gallery in Dublin

I visited the members exhibition of recently produced art. it includes abstract art and representative art. There is something there to suit all tastes.
The gallery is predominantly introverted- but that is not a criticism.
There are at least 6 separate galleries on two levels. Well worth a visit.
It is in a very convenient location close to St Stephens Green.

Grayson Perry exhibition: A revelation ( pun intended ) !

They are currently holding their annual competition. The place is packed full of interesting art. Lots of beautiful pieces and the whole exhibition is free. Definitely worth a visit plus they have a great cafe onsite.

An oasis...

Went on a day with most exhibition closed due to rearranging, but would definitely recommend the Charles Harper exhibition.
