Rocksberry Bed & Breakfast

Absolutely lovely. Very clean, bed very comfortable, very good compliance with covid 19 guidelines felt very comfortable there. Lovely host very friendly and breakfast was very nice. Couldn't fault it.

I think this is the best BnB I've ever stayed in. Only 5 minutes from the town centre and a tenner in a taxi. I travelled with my brother for a football match in Castlebar. The room was big, beds extremely comfortable I could have stayed there all day, it was better than some hotels I've stayed in. The breakfast is just outrageously good. We both got a full Irish and both agreed it was the best we've ever had when staying in any hotel or BnB. It was the perfect amount of food without feeling too stuffed to go about the day. The owner, Bernie, couldnt have done enough for us, even offering to drop us into town for a pint so we could leave the car. I've already said to my partner we should return for a weekend to Castlebar and wouldnt hesitate to book Rocksberry again. Just a fantastic place to stay. …

We arrived late, but after a quick call that was no problem at all. Very nice hosts, always happy to give you tips or recommendations on where to go. For the best view the upstairs rooms are ideal (see attached image). There is a breakfast menu from which you should order the night before if possible, the eggs are from their own henhouse, extra wishes are no problem. Would definitively recommend.

On our second night of our Ireland tour (12days) we stayed here! It put the standard really high! Thank you for your hospitality. Your suggestion to visit Archill Islands and the pub suggestion were perfect! Hope to welcome you in Tenerife!

Cannot tell you how fab this b&b is! My mum and I stayed here whilst visiting family and had such a great stay. Bernie was so welcoming and her Irish breakfasts are incredible. Bernie, John and their family are all so lovely and welcoming. They really live up to friendliness of the Irish and then some. It's not often that you get a good room, in a good location with such great service. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's visiting County Mayo and I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm over to visit!
