A central point for a visit to Giant’s Causeway area

Karen provided a warm, friendly and informative atmosphere for our stay. The house is lovely and rooms are spacious and well kept. The breakfasts were outstanding, if offered the smoked salmon is a delight. A real gem

The Perfect B and B!

We stayed at Oaklands for 3 nights and everything about our stay was perfect. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Karen and Dave, the owners, and a welcome cup of tea. Our room was spacious, with a stunning bathroom, and there was plenty of storage space. Breakfasts were delicious - the full Irish is to be recommended, and Karen also cooks the best scrambled eggs! The B and B is well located, being only a short drive from the coast, and many great places to visit such as the Giants Causeway, Bushmills and Carrick Rope Bridge. Also we took a train from Castlerock station, a few minutes drive away, to Londonderry - a very interesting place to visit. Karen and Dave are both a mine of information on the local area, and we wished we had had more time to explore. We would highly recommend this B and B and will undoubtedly revisit. …

Great base for exploring the Causeway Coast

High quality spacious rooms in a peaceful setting. Karen and David are excellent and knowledgeable hosts and great company. The attention to detail is top notch and the breakfasts are brilliant. We will certainly return.

Luxury B&B

We stayed here for three nights at the end of May. We chose this B&B because of its location just out of town and within easy reach by car of the Giant's Causeway and other places to visit on the coast. It is a beautiful house and the room we had was very tastefully decorated and furnished. The bed was extremely comfy; plenty of storage and tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk are provided in the room. The shower room was huge with his and hers washbasins and a spacious shower. All beautifully done and very clean. Karen gave us a warm welcome and provided lots of tips on where to eat out and places to visit. The breakfast is special too. You will have the dilemma of choosing between the Irish breakfast or the smoked salmon! We loved our stay here and would heartily recommend it.
