An amazing stay with lovely hostess

I had an amazing three week stay and Lorna couldn't have made me any more welcome! Lorna welcomed you with a lovely cup of tea and cake. The rooms were lovely an very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and was the best I have ever had. I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend it to family and friends. Thank you, Lorna!

Another fantastic stay

Once again just had a fantastic stay at Mountnorris, Lorna is a great host and serves the best breakfast that I've ever had, the homemade cakes on arrival are most welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again this was my fourth visit over the last ten or so years.

Great Welcome

Lorna made us a welcome cup of tea after our long drive. Our room was comfortable and breakfast excellent. Northen Ireland hospitality at its best. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip .

Excellent B&B

The rooms are ensuite in a very nice home . The host, Lorna, is especially kind, friendly and helpful. Not far off the Dublin road in a nice village setting. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice e.g full Irish breakfast, cereals, fruit ,tea, coffee, fruit and fruit juice. Also free wifi.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Myself, my husband & my husbands parents stayed at Mountnorris House for the weekend of 22nd to 24th May. On arrival Lorna had made us a pot of tea & homemade cake, what a lovely gesture! The rooms we had were all spotless and had everything you needed, tea, coffee, biscuits - you just need to ask Lorna for some milk if you want to make a cuppa. The bathroom was also spotless, shower was great and had showergel in cubicle & handwash by the sink. The bed was really comfy, haven't slep that well in ages or could that be the guiness?! There is a pub next door which is lovely & friendly called The Port Bar & only a quick stroll away! This is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who was thinking of coming over to Markethill. Thanks Lorna for making us all feel so welcome, and we hope to see you again soon. …
