A Delight. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Lough Ree Manor has some of the most warming and nice owners I've ever met. Ann and Michael provided me a free bed for the night after running a marathon and booked in a box office fight at no extra cost. Everything i could ask for - and so friendly and conversational. If you are visiting Longford this is a fantastic option to stay.

Home from home
Recently we stayed at this B&B accompanied by our pet dog for 2 days. We were greeted very warmly and offered tea/coffee or drinks on arrival. Breakfast was terrific with choices. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. This is a rural location just 2 miles from the nearest town with a larger town (shopping) 12 miles further away. There are many attractions nearby including canal, river Inny and Lough Ree. What most impressed us was the hospitality shown to us throughout our stay by a family run B&B
