Excellent stay at this modern BnB

Recently stayed overnight here for a wedding. A lot of positives to take away from our stay here. Very warmly welcomed by the owner, John who is friendly and made us feel at home soon as we arrived. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless including the modern ensuite attached. Breakfast the next morning was satisfactory and the views onto the garden are relaxing. Only negative is that it could be signposted a bit better as can be difficult to locate. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning for any future visits!

2 nights in Kilkenny

Positives: 1. Hospitality of the owner 2. Very Clean 3. New building 4. Spacious free parking area 5. Large comfortable bathroom (siutable for disabled) 6. Warm shower water all the time 7. A boiler and basic tea and milk (unfortunately milk was expired. However, we told the owner) 8. Close to a gas service station 9. Short driving distance to the town centre Negatives: Honestly nothing. Previous reviews stated the noise of the passing train. It wasn't annoying at all. Location can be difficult to find as there is no sign. However, the owner picked me up from the nearby gas station. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Fabulous stay in Kilkenny!

We stayed there last weekend and have every second of it! First I have received a text while on the train, to confirm they were waiting for us, which was very nice. The cab did not find the place straight away so I would recommend you give "Murphy's Machinery" as a reference, the B&B is in the small lane opposite to it. When we arrived (a little later, 30 min, that we have confirmed), we could check in the room even though the check in is usually at 2pm, which was nice because we needed to get changed before going for a hike. The room was spacious, with 2 views on the garden, extremely clean, the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and was at the table next to the kitchen so we could have a chat with the lovely owner of this modern house, and he has been very helpful with organizing our day, advising on distance to neighborhood villages. He also offered to drive us to the station at the end of our day to catch our train back to Dublin, which was very nice of him. We just regret we could not stay longer! :) We will definitely be back. Thank you ! …
