Very interesting
Great path to explore for children and the whole family. Nested in a great garden with a lot of tropic! plants. Great cafe as well.

Pouring with rain but we did not care at all.
Lovely little trail, actually quite long. Our little granddaughter ignored the weather and determinedly hunted down the quaint little house scattered across the woods. No requests for sweets drinks or iPads, just an enchanted hour in fairyland.

Beautiful idea for young and old
Lovely walk around the fairy garden, children had great fun being the first to spot the fairy houses and mark it off on their maps. The fairy houses are amazing and the attention to detail is exceptional. Fairy trail is very well signposted. A definite must if you are in the Derrynane area.

Lovely activity for children
A really nice activity for young children, it’s clear a great deal of time and effort went into creating this trail. Set in the leafy shade of the woodlands of Derrynane House it offers a nice break from a hot day on the beach or alternatively a sheltered activity on a rainy day.

Great Idea for Kids
Enjoyed walking this fairy trail with our two granddaughters ages 3 and 7. We arrive around 4:00 pm and the visitors center was already closed even though the signs said open until 5:00 pm. We were still able to access the fairy trail even though there was absolutely no signage to indicate where it was. The girls really enjoyed it but signage would have been much appreciated.

It is free of charge.
Along by derrynane beach and house
Has a coffee shop.
The fairy trail is really nice and huge effort goes into keeping these fairy houses in imaculate condition.
In addition to the fairy walk there are other gardens at Derrynane for those more into flora.
Would definitely recommend if you’ve younger kids and around this part of the country with some time to kill. Definitely recommend a trip to the beach also while you’re here.

Fantastic Trail ... the whole place is a fairytale.
Wonderful experience for the families with small children. Our daughter was successfully convinced there are real faries living in this forrest, she left each one a gift and couldn’t stop talking about them the following day. As an adult I could also feel like a child again for a moment or two. Worth visiting.
