Great B&B

Greenhill is a lovely B&B. Owners P.J. and Josephine make you feel welcome the minute their door is opened. They’re located adjoining a beautiful cathedral, and are within a five minute walk of city centre, making it easy to wander around without having to look for, or pay, for parking. The rooms and house are meticulously clean and have very comfortable beds. Also, the breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. I can recommend Greenhill to anyone visiting Ballina.

Amazing value & service

If you are going to explore the area you must stay here. Centrally located with an easy walk to town but in a private and quiet area. Very secure. Just behind the cathedral. Free carparking and very efficient Wi-Fi. We had an upstairs room and the man carried our heavy bags up for us which we felt bad about as it was an effort. Greeted with a cuppa and a muffin. Coffee making facilities in the room. TV available but we couldn't get the volume to work so didn't bother. Large room with a double & single bed. Best nights sleep in weeks! Very large breakfast with a variety of cereals, home baked breads and a good selection of large and delicious cooked meals. Lovely owners that can't do enough for you. Also a lovely garden to sit in.

Lovely B and B in a great area

I have stayed here once or twice a year for the past few years. It is in a lovely location but also nice and quiet. It is also a good place to stay if you are fishing and always happy to freeze fish for you. The hospitality is always good and the breakfast in lovely.

A peaceful stay

We stayed at Greenhill on a motorbike holiday in Ireland . It is in a very quiet cul de sac next to the cathedral and a short walk to the town. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We loved the garden.

The perfect overnight!

My husband and I were driving the Wild Atlantic Way and decided to visit inland..We needed a stop and booked into Greenhill. What a gem! Warm and welcome people. Clean and quaint. Josephine went out of her way to give us an adapter for our phone. An evening walk along the River Moy and dinner at Dillion’s was just perfect!
