Nice little visit
A free attraction this is a small cottage with artifacts. The grounds boost a picnic area and play area. Worth calling in.

Sweet little stop
A quiet spot with picnic tables and a little playground. The humble home has an electronic self guided tour that makes it an easy place to explore.
The well maintained grassy area and garden make A great place for a picnic lunch and an opportunity for the little ones to burn off some energy.

Worth seeing but not a lot to see
Significant historical figure from North America who was pivotal in the Civil War accepting General Lee’s surrender. The house stayed in the family until the 1970’s when the local authority restored it to its original historical state when Grants great grandfather would have been resident. Indeed the house was in the family since the 1600’s! Although this is a fascinating piece of history there is not a lot to do at the actual attraction although there is a video presentation explaining the historical links. Good transport links via road to this place if you have access to a car and you can always go the Black Cat restaurant a few miles down the road for something to eat.
