Top boozer

Things we like in a pub: 1) A few well-kept craft beers 2) A Barperson who knows their stuff 3) Nice decor 4) Decent music This place scores well on all these. Been there 3x now, will deffo go back. It's a nice marriage of an old style pub with a hipster joint.

Dear Mike Kelly.. . I apologise for finding your review helpful. I most certainly didnt. Your statement is both invalid and unfair. I myself am not a game of thrones fan. But as a pub as you said yourself they are entitled to "promote" special nights. If you are unaware sir game of thrones is about as important as sunday mass to your aunty Joan. It is a religion to some people. And as you could have Clearly noticed cause among many of the cool posters that are advertised in the trendy lovely cozy pub that is gilbert and Wright's. Game of thrones on the big screen every Monday is about as important as a young boys confirmation.. I am an occasional pint taster in the place myself and I must say. There are no words that fault the place watsoever that come to mind.

Parfol wee bar, craic was really good. Decor is cute, really quirky, nice drinks and nice bar staff.

Cozy, quirky, COCKTAILS and Thai!

A small windowless place but for the Orchard Thieves lovers amongst us, this is one of 3 places in central Dun Laoghrie that has the cider on draughts, & THE most remarkable quirky seating (old stuffed Queen Anne chairs)! And don't let the lack of windows deter you as it just adds to the cosy feel. While they DO NOT have a Kitchen, they've incorporated Camille Thai Takeaway from across the road into their menu so that you can order FROM here, have it paid for, delivered & eat it in the pub with the pubs cutlery. They also have cinemas viewing on some nights. The young man who served me was kind, thoughtful & diligent & it's a pity I forgot to get his name.

Lovely spot

A great pub to have in the area. There's always something on to interest punters and the pints are great.

Cozy alternative bar

Great bar, busy on weekends, lots of reused sofas and chairs, cool events (open mike and movie nights) during the week, good selection of beer, and they also offer food (from Camille Thai across the road). Its kind of like sitting in someone's living room, except with good music and beer on tap!
