Lovely Coffee

I just moved nearby here and went to check it out this afternoon for coffee. The staff were friendly and the coffee was one of the nicest I have had in a long time. They also only charged me €3 even with oat milk which is great value compared to my previous coffee shop. So pleased that this cafe is nearby I expect it will be my regular.

Great Service and Sensational Coffee

The family and I popped in and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and excellent coffee. The artisan jam is a triumph and is super tasty with a scone. Ask for Sean to do some magic tricks for the kids!! Little terrors have been badgering me ever since to go back to fothergills.

When I first walked by this establishment, the gentleman in the cafe caught me eye. A real smooth operator with plenty of style. I decided to venture in and was amazed bu the quality of service, food and decor. I asked for my usual flat white coffee and was given what can only be described as heaven in a cup, rich and full bodied. I got a snack to accompany my beverage and was not disappointed let me tell you. I plan to go back when I’m in the neighbourhood.

I have visited here many times and will continue to do so! The decor is very pleasing and the staff are friendly. On my last visit I had the Pear and Almond tart and it was just delicious; a beautiful flavor. I would also highly recommend the chicken curry and the variety of fresh salads on offer. Make sure you visit the deli next door to peruse all the wonderful delights on offer also.

Precious Little Gem

Can't say enough about the charm, excellent food & service at this bistro. The set up is a bit odd, one half of the space is devoted to a take out deli, the kitchen is on this side. The other side is a tiny little bistro. Charmingly decorated, with soft French jazz playing in the background. Eclectic menu, you can eat heartily or just soup and sandwich. Bread is made on site and incredible! Service was excellent and the pea soup was outstanding. Fresh and delicious. Very reasonable price point. Friendly service, spotlessly clean (like all of Dublin). I believe they are only open for breakfast and lunch. A lovely spot.
