Emmet House is a small boutique style hotel situated in Emmet Square,, Birr, Co Offaly, Ireland. Catch up with college friends
I recently stay here as a base to catch up with friends. Maureen was fantastic. So helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect for the 3 of us. A bed each and a lovely spacious room, the beds were very comfortable. The location was great and parking in font of accommodation. Maureen and her sister were so friendly and lots of home made buns and scones, they were delicious. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again ☺️

Fantastic place to stay !
Right in the middle of Birr, absolutely lovely place to stay. Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast ... including a healthy delicious green smoothie !! I was in a room, overlooking the square, with a gorgeous four poster bed !

The most genuine welcome ever!
Maureen and Evelyn, ye gave us the most fantastic welcome to your fantastic Guest house. Plain to see how this beautiful building is genuinely loved by its owners. The time ye took to chat and to genuinely show interest in your guests was so very obvious. We will be back, and I can honestly say that I suspect anyone that stays with ye once, looks no further for any future return visits to Birr. Take care, and hope to see ye all sometime soon. XRay

Emmet House B&B
Emmet House is a beautiful property in the historic town of Birr. It is beautiful decorated in keeping with the period of the house and is run by a wonderful family. Maureen and Evelyn were very welcoming and friendly and made our stay really enjoyable.
