Superb Coffee & Cakes

A beautiful little coffee shop and bakery that serves a wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes, bread & cupcakes. The lemon drizzle, coffee and chocolate slices are amazing. Locally roasted coffee gives the shop an amazing aroma. Really worth travelling to Rathcormac for this alone as a treat.

Excellent cup cakes!

we ordered batches of lemon, coffee, chocolate and carrot cup-cakes from Dooleys for a company event. Service was excellent and cakes were fantastic. We priced around at a few different places and Dooleys were the best value also.

Great baking.

This is a very pretty little coffee shop.I recently ordered some cakes from Carmel and collected them next day. Lemon Driźzle and Chocolate tray bake. When the staff heard "Dooleys" cakes were in they came for break early and all diets were forgotten. The cakes were delicious and tasty.

My favourite teashop

We found Dooleys by accident last year on our way to Kilcochrane and it made such an impression that we went out of our way to call in again on our way home and actually travelled via Dublin rather than Fishguard just to call in. Sounds sad but this place is special. This year they were part of the holiday and it was exactly 12 months to the hour that we called again and it was just as good. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, in fact we felt like regulars within the first couple of minutes and I think it speaks volumes for the place that they have such a lovely bunch of customers. The sandwiches were big and tasty but it is the cakes that really shine out. I'm not really a cake fan but I can't praise these too highly, they taste as though they have been made by angels in heaven and when you meet all the staff, you'll see that it's not far from fact. We have a few favoured tea shops and cafes but Dooleys tops the list. Try it and you'll fall in love with place.

Greatest non touristic experience

We found this great intimate coffeshop on our way to cork and it was a lovely experience. this is a very small coffeshop that has the local postoffice inside and lovely people to greet us. Carmel the owner was so kind and the food was excellent!

A warm welcome

Having been diverted off the M7 we stopped in Dooley's for a quick snack. The cakes are homemade and delicious. Even though it was late they made up a sandwich for or dairy/nut allergic son. The tea was so refreshing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And you can post a letter there too. Wonderful old-fashioned spot worth diverting for.
