Great course in mint condition
Very lovely links course in mint condition! Scenery was stunning and the weather ok given time of year. the greens could have been a bit faster but very fair and correct.

What a place... please go here
This was my first Visit to Sligo and the golf course is outstanding. We encountered many locals.
The course/club Manager David, nothing was any trouble and this was the start of a fabulous trip.
We spent some Euros in the Pro shop and were met by "Another David!" Who again showed us what this club is all about. Fantastic facilities backed by friendly staff and a ???????????????????? Golf course. Links golf at its finest.
I will be back..

Great course if you survive pro shop.
Played last week, punched greens and all but the real challenge was the pro shop. Met by a deaf mute and grouchy one at that. Though only ones in shop, thought he had forgotten about 4 of us standing in front of him. Painful. If any answers, one word at best, grunted. Pencils? No. Began to enlist a trolley but gave up. No way he was helping with that, let alone discuss the caddy we’d reserved. Fortunately the course is world class, and our bartender upstairs made up for our angry young man. Almost.

A Must Play
Sligo golf club (Rosses Point) is a must for any golfer in or coming to Ireland.
One of the best layouts I have played.
Tee Boxes 10/10
Fairways 10/10
Greens 10/10
Views 10/10
Clubhouse 10/10
Staff 12/10 will not meet nicer
Only downside was having to leave after 4 great days of golfing and a pint or two.
Thanks to the Manager (David) and all his staff at Sligo golf club for what was a great first of many trips to this great course.

One of the great ones!
We were blessed with a wonderful sunny day (really!) with minimal wind. We had two great college-age caddies who were fun and good at their responsibilities. The course itself is world-class links golf.

Best Course I’ve ever played
I stopped by the County Sligo Golf Club late one afternoon. It had rained all day and I finally saw some breaks in the clouds. Showed up at 545. I rented clubs. Only the best were offered to me. Taylor Made irons and the M4 Driver and hybrid. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly even though I showed up so late in the day. The course is fantastic. Difficult shots, changes in elevation, beautiful vistas, every hole is different and presented thoughtful but not impossible trouble that needed to be navigated. The greens were in excellent shape. When I finished it was almost dark. I met some members who showed me the members dressing room. Gave me towels. Invited me to the bar/ restaurant, which by the way, is fantastic. I even met the Club Captain who invited me over for a drink I had an amazing time. I never expected to be treated so well. The Members and staff here truly went the extra mile for me. I’m very thankful and so happy that I took a chance on playing so close to the end of the day. It’s a time I’ll never forget.
