Coill Dara House B&B

I was visiting relatives in Roscommon and happened to stay a few nights in Coíll Dara house in Tobercurry. Patricia and Roger were wonderful hosts and the breakfast magnificent. This is a great place to stay. John Hennigan

A gorgeus house outside and in located far enough from all the fuss and close enough to the cosy city of Tubbercurry. Fantastic hosts added so much to the experience and the house felt like a warm home despite some Irish weather. Thanks again Patricia and Roger.

Coill Dara House Tubbercurry. A beautiful large house in very large well kept grounds. Furnished and maintained to a very high standard. Warm friendly greeting with tea and cakes. Lovely guest conservatory and lounge. Large bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice, taken in a lovely large dining room. A very beautiful, quiet, friendly place to stay.

in 2015, my wife and I stayed one night at Coill Dara and found it to be quite wonderful. We felt more like visiting family than paying guests. On our return trip to Ireland last month [Sept., 2018] we were pleased to stay there for two nights. Coill Dara is an elegant place--the house, the clean, spacious rooms, the landscaped grounds. It's a short walk into Tubbercurry and a 25-minute drive to Sligo Town. But what hit us the most in both our stays at Coill Dara House is its warm, welcoming feeling. Both Patricia and Roger are good people, helpful in both answering questions about the area as well as making suggestions about people and places. And of note is the fact that Patricia's delicious breakfasts were named Highly Commended in the B & B category in the 2018 Georgina Campbell Irish Breakfast Awards. …

You already feel at home with the warm welcome of Patricia to her beautiful house. The bedrooms are big and cosy, the beds very comfortable. The morning breakfast is all home made and delicious. This B&B is worth a 5 star rating.
