Clonmore House

clonmore house is a family run b&b. very clean we were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable. The room was large and had a door out to a verandah. Breakfast was full Irish and plenty to eat. Hosts were Mary & Joe who were just lovely. Highly recommended.

Lucky enough to drive up and find a vacancy. Just a few minutes drive from Tipperary. On a main road but set back and quiet. Immaculate garden. Mary and Joe are friendly and accommodating. Lovely home and room. Good and delicious breakfast choices. Comfortable beds. We were given a room with a single and king size bed for the 2 of us

We had a wonderful stay here. Mary and her husband were to gracious and accommodating;) I wish we had been able to stay here longer! Best Soda Bread:) would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family:)

From the moment we pulled up the drive at an unsociable 11pm, we had the warmest welcome. Joe was at the door to greet my husband and me, and show us to our room. The whole place is immaculate, inside and out (the garden is lovely too). Our room had a great big bed, nice little en-suite shower room and had big sliding doors to a deck with a little table and chairs to sit at. What more could you want? Breakfast was served in a dining room looking out over the back garden and we got the window seat each morning. I had an irish breakfast (sausage, bacon, black pudding, white pudding, two fried eggs, tomato - the works!): delicious and it kept me going until the evening. My husband the veggie had scrambled eggs, beans and tomato. Not to mention the orange juice to start with, the cereal as a kind of starter, bottomless coffee, boundless toast and - a highlight - delicious homemade soda bread. You will start your day well. We were there for a wedding at the nearby Kilshane House (gorgeous), and they were very accommodating of our comings-and-goings and were delicate with our hangovers on morning two. :) Clonmore House is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Tipperary Town for a pint or two of the black stuff, and an easy drive to the Rock of Cashel or Cahir (for the castle and Swiss Cottage). Mary and Joe are a lovely friendly couple who couldn't be more warm and welcoming - our thanks to them for making our stay in Ireland even more special. …

Went hiking in Tipperary with a group wanted to stay in Tipperary for a night. What a fantastic place to stay. The B@B is absolutely spotless. The welcome is second to none. Food fantastic. ..Joe is a lovely friendly helpful man with great knowledge and Mary ( the boss) is such a charming host. Will definitely return . D
