Causey Farm

Completely overbooked, spent most of our time queuing and only got two events done in two hours. The overbooking made each of the events less enjoyable as there was always someone ahead getting scared before you.

5* OUTSTANDING and above & beyond to make my daughters birthday memorable. I booked the PARTY PACKAGE which included everything plus feeding the goats, holding piglets,pups,rabbits & pups & general VIP experience.Rosin was our host for 3 hrs and was wonderful ,friendly ,knowledgeable & good fun. We all had highlights & kids went with the baby animals, my Dad enjoyed the fun digging spuds, & kids were in teams to fill the bucket .The train through the woods with stops to see the props for Roald Dahl story books was extremely well done with a story teller on board. We met real life Fairy & kids rang a bell to make wishes. The pedal Swans on the lake brought alot of laughs. Our day ended with Pizzas & birthday icecream cake with sprinkles ! .For me the day was easy & causey farm yet again have created a brilliant fun day out. Ill be back for next year’s birthday ????????Thanks Causey Farm & I will add its covid compliant with ample hand sanitisers & general fresh air & space !

Visited Causey for the ice cream adventure and had an absolutely amazing day. Start to finish so much to do. Staff were really friendly especially the leprechaun. There were plenty of animals to see baby piglets, puppies and a calf our highlights as well as donkeys, lamas, goats and ducks. The maze was great fun and the roald Dahl train a definite highlight. The kids loved the giant bubbles and the lovely ice cream. Plenty of games to do and the swan boats. Thanks Causey for another great day out

An Ice Cream Adventure. I took my two little granddaughters here yesterday. To be fair it was pouring with rain which wasn’t helpful. This place is a working farm but frankly they have thrown a few badly made bits and pieces into sheds to make it fun. Balls were missing for the Cone game, few wands for the bubbles, the Swan paddle boats weren’t "running yet".
The animals were lovely Horse, donkeys, sheep pigs, llamas bunny rabbits and goats but it’s all a bit haphazard. There was a rickety rackety old "train" pulled by a tractor taking us through "Roald Dahl Village", more imagination could be used. The girls had good fun but the best bit for Grannie was the scoop of ice-cream at THE END. Staff were very friendly. Dozens of groups of kids arriving and at €12 ahead over 2 years it’s a bit of a rip off.

Had a unbelievable day. Was totally surprised at how good the experience was. You could spent all day there no problem. The staff were lovely there was loads to do. The best of the day for me was definitely the guide train tour.

Very nice farm experience on booking the ice-cream tour. We had a great day. Ice-cream included... nice touch. The dominos are great craic and the swan boat and the Roald Dahl theme train were brilliant too. The new puppies and bunnies were a hit with the children. Spent 4 hours with the 2 kids aged 6 and 3. Refreshingly relaxed atmosphere. Then had crepes after. Delicious. It’s so reasonably priced as well. You’d expect to be ripped off for food and drink in a place that’s kinda remote from shops but far from it. The family running it are lovely and couldn’t be nicer to us and all of the staff were very nice to the children. I hope to be back god willing for Halloween.
