Super place for a self catering break away, highly recommended!

We booked this back in February 2020 and had to postpone due to Covid 19 county restrictions. We were able to rebook for this September 2021 and Berehaven Lodge were very helpful and accommodating with our arrangements, we had originally asked for the possibility of a water front cottage and this was provided for us as well, we stayed in lodge no 4. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it, hopefully we may return in the future. The cottage was fully furnished to a high standard with all mod cons with everything you would need for a self catering break away, spacious cosy and absolutely spotless. The site is quiet and very well maintained with fabulous views of Bere Island across from the cottages. An ideal base to explore west Cork and around the Atlantic way. …

Already want to return!

We are just home from a week stay in Berehaven Lodge. We were in Lodge 4, which was spotless and had everything required for a self catering holiday, Wi-fi was very fast and we ate our meals out on the patio to appreciate the beautiful views. The kids loved looking for crab on the little beach each evening. Natalie and Norah were both lovely and went out of their way to accommodate our time of arrival, the breakfast items were a lovely touch after a long travel. I would definitely stay again.

Very nice house, great set up and lovely location.

We are a family of 5 and the house is kitted out well. Very clean and spacious. There is a small play area, pier and small stone beach on site with a little walk too, kids enjoyed it and was very comfortable.

Great Stay

These are super 3 bed lodges with everything you could need. We have stayed in similar lodges around the country and these are definitely the best equipped. They are in a lovely quiet area with super views of the bay. They were immaculately clean on arrival and a wonderful starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, bread and all the necessary for a good fry, was just icing on the cake. There was a spa bath in the main bathroom which was heaven after a days wanderings and walk about. Due to covid restrictions we didnt get to meet the girls, but having dealt with them for our booking, I felt sure if we had needed them they would have been there for us! Thanks so much Natalie and Norah, we had a wonderful stay and looking forward to coming back.
