Nice Cave and steep walk

Cave is located close to the car park.
Nice cool spot, cave with waterfall.
Walkway down to a small viewing area.
Then it’s up to yourself whether you go further.
The wal arround the forrest has some great views but it is very steep in areas for younger kids.
We made it.

Disappointment

Must admit there are many better walks in the area , the track and forest are nothing special and if the caves were not there we would definitely been even more disappointed

A nice walk

We spent the afternoon exploring the forest trail and the nearby Pollnagollum cave.

The parking is not very well signposted and we almost drove along the trail before we realised where we were. Once parked, the trail was easy enough to follow with sign posts every so often. Phone signal is very spotty so it’s important to pay attention to the signs whenever you see them.

The Pollnagollum cave is a nice attraction to see if you’re a Game of Thrones fan but there isn’t any access to the cave itself due to safety concerns, just a viewing platform.
