Banada Stables

We attempted to contact their number in August of 2021. Unfortunately the number either is disconnected or no one is answering. I assume COVID has them on a break.

If Carlsberg did riding holidays, they still would not match Caroline and Kevin at Banada Stables. This was the best riding holiday we’ve been on!
Lovely accommodation, fabulous treks, well minded horses and dogs and a lovely atmosphere. Banada stables is also dog friendly.
We came and rode for three days and stayed two nights. The treks were amazing, beautiful scenery and we never rode the same route twice! We especially wanted to ride our horses on the beach so Caroline brought us to Coney Island for a day. This was fabulous; great riding and breathtaking scenery.
The accommodation at Banada stables was lovely, clean and warm. Our hosts; Caroline and Kevin were amazing. We were made feel so welcome in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Caroline is an amazing cook and fed us to the best. They went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable break. We will definitely be going again ????????????

We were very happy with our decision to go to banada stables. Caroline and kevin introduced us all to the horses and dogs. She even included how they owned them. It was very relaxed and enjoyable trek. They made us all feel welcome and possibly return again. We got our pictures taken afterwards. Lovely views and trek. We all felt safe too. Very reasonably priced.

We had a blast on our stay. Room was very nice, horses are so darn cute. Caroline went up above and beyond to help accommodate my allergies. She is an amazing chief! Caroline also helped us find some amazing places to go sightseeing at. Highly recommend staying here!

We booked a horse-riding week-end via bookhorserdingholigay.com. The formula included several hours of riding, one night stay at the B&B with breakfast and lunch meal. The property is gorgeous and Caroline and Kevin are truly great host:it felt like being with friends. The horse-riding experience was as great with trails on the mountain and the beach.Thank you for everything !

I arrived in the evening and had a lovely chat with Kevin before retiring to my very comfortable room - and the breakfast was stupendous. I was not there on an equestrian visit but was trying to track down some family. The next morning when Caroline asked me what I was up to that day she took the time to ring up a few people and got me contacts and directions to people who could help me. As a result I actually found several people who I was related to and I could not have done it without her help. I hope you read this, Caroline, and look forward to seeing you and Kevin the next time I am in Ireland!

Warm welcome on arrival, lovely quaint place. Hospitality first class, excellent food and lots of it. Caroline made my friend and I feel so much at home, chilled and relaxed. The horses and dogs are adorable. Looking forward to returning in the summer.

We ended up here somewhat by accident but couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Upon our arrival, our hosts, Caroline and Kevin, showed us around the house, the gardens and the stables (even though we weren’t staying long enough to ride). The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and the location quiet. The breakfast the next morning was a test of eating skills as the food just kept coming: bacon, sausages, puddings, eggs, croissants, cereals, brown bread, and delicious french toast topped with *homemade* red current jam. If that weren’t enough, Caroline eagerly served as our Trip Advisor for the day drawing up a whole page of suggestions with directions (including tide charts!) for some lesser known attractions in the area. She was 100% on each suggestion (Caroline: we LOVED Little Switzerland (!!) and lunch at the Glen Car Tea Shed) and since it was 3 days worth of activities not 1, we’ll just have to come back for another stay to make it through the rest of the list. We’ll be back to this sweet BB - this was a fabulous little respite in a few busy days of travel!

Upon our arrival, Caroline and Kevin warmly welcomed us into their home. We enjoyed being surrounded by horses. Caroline kindly make us visit her stables.
Caroline prepared us a huge Irish dinner, she’s a great creative chef, and our dinner was delectable. And we were not at the end of surprise, we had the best breakfast we had at a bed and breakfast, tasted beautiful, great variety, you will not leave hungry!
