Arklow Bay Orchard B&B

a great experience highly recommend a visit here...not many hosts take such care of you and leave you in peace at the same time....highly rec this bb and a really nice breakfast served with a smile and a request to ask for more if we needed

We enjoyed chatting with our host Pat, a local guitar teacher, and well-informed tour guide. The rooms are bright and quirky, with a nice garden area out back for nice weather. Pat made us feel right at home and had water, tea and kettle ready at all hours. He helped us plot a personalized tour through the Wicklow Mountains to accommodate our interests. A pleasant surprise was the nice walking trail along the Irish Sea, darting in and out of wetlands, and with a good exercise park nearby. More of a workout than just walking! The Arklow Hotel is a stone's throw away and is reasonably priced with decent food. We never made it in to town because we had everything we needed so close by! This is a great base for hiking in Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains.
