Won’t be particularly memorable
This was originally a farmhouse, dating back to 1660 but it was extended by one of the owners who was an architect. The tour is short, only five rooms, two from the original time ( the entrance and the parlour), the rest ( drawing room, bedroom and dining room) later on and you can see the difference. The drawing room is probably the highlight of the tour with its high ceiling, conversation chairs and centrepiece table with a base in the form of a shamrock etc but the dining room was nicely done too.
The farmyard display has been well done with a dairy, a smithy, farmyard machinery over the years, all indicating labour intensive farming in years gone by.
I did the lady’s Mile.which is closer to 3/4 mile. I would not recommend it for buggies or those with mobility problems.
A nice house, not wow, but good to see.
