Aran Sweater Market

The sales woman at the Aran Island store was more interested in her phone than customers. I wasn’t greeted and when I had questions I felt like I was a bother.

Out of all the shops in Dublin selling wool products this store has the best quality. I got two virgin wool sweaters in the traditional white pattern and a beautiful lambswool scarf made in Foxford, Ireland. I would say the prices are fair and there is more than enough different sizes. The one thing I think the store could work on is their customer service. The scarves with the different clan names were in disarray and we asked where we could find a Walsh clan one and the customer support rep just nodded her head towards the pile and told us to just sort through. We never got asked if we needed help with anything or got thanked for our business when we left. Overall though great products. I can’t wait to wear my sweater this winter.
