Ach Na Sheen B&B

We had a great time here, would highly recommend it. Great knowledge of the area and the location is really central. The breakfasts are amazing, fresh fruit of all descriptions and a great Irish breakfast.

I had the great fortune to travel to ireland this January for a quick 4 day trip and only 2 days to research my ancestry in Tipperary. I chose Ach Na Sheen for the quaintness +++++, Great food +++++, Ancestry Help +++++ and ease of getting around Tipperary +++++. Sylvia went totally beyond. I have never been to Ireland so she very kindly met me at the Train, made me great breakfasts (including her hand made Brown Bread & Gooseberry Jam), introduced me to her friend Mike O'Meara, Tipperary Historian and Geneology researcher extradinaire. The access to town to the Library, food shopping & fresh market, coffee house, Local Irish pub and even a consignment shop made my short stay beyond my expectation. Found my family crest, church, and history back to 200 AD where O'Conn (old spelling for O'Quinn) of 100 Battles became the King of all Ireland. Can't wait to get back to Ach Na Sheen and the lovely Sylvia Noonan! Thank you for a life changing experience! …

We actually stayed here September 2018. It was definitely a treat. The room was spotless and it could not have been any better. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. I fell in love with porridge while in Ireland and able to find it on amazon and still have it at home. The owner Sylvia is as sweet as they come, warm, welcoming and even allowed me to wash a load of clothes. She gave us suggestions on what to see and where to go. Tipperary is definitely a beautiful, tranquil area with many treasures to enjoy. Don't miss the Christ the King statue overlooking a gorgeous view. Stay here, you will not regret it.

I have stayed there twice and the standard of rooms, cleanliness and breakfast is has remained consistent that is the best. You won’t find better breakfast, proper home made taste and feel. I would highly recommend this place even if you are not in Tipperary town for work or visit and have to be in nearby places.

We stayed at Ach Na Sheen in September 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Our host, Sylvia, could not have been more welcoming - we were instantly made to feel completely at home. She could not have done enough for us. The bedroom was good and of generous size. Sylvia in the mornings is in the kitchen making breakfasts which are just something to write home about. The healthy buffet table in the dining room has a vast array of fruit, juices, yoghurts and cereals. You can then choose what you would like in your cooked breakfast and it is absolutely to die for. The mushrooms are something else. Loved it and could not recommend Ach Na Sheen B and B highly enough to anyone considering going there. Thank you Sylvia and hopefully see you again sometime.
